Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Mysore Style
In your own rhythm
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic yoga style,
which is characterized by flowing transitions between the postures (asana). More information here .
In the teaching method 'MYSORE STYLE', students are taught individually in a group:
Individual lessons in a group where you practice independently and at the same time with individual instruction.
Beginners learn the series step by step. All participants can
and practice in their own breathing rhythm.
Mysore classes are group lessons for all experience levels and require no previous knowledge.
The strength of the Mysore Style teaching is,
that the practitioner develops a personal practice.
Series of exercises are taught that offer participants the opportunity to
with the support of their teachers or to practice alone at another location.
The teaching method expands the ability to flow at one’s own rhythm,
to delve deeper into meditation in motion and to align yourself inward.
The participants are given verbal instructions and demonstrations
and hands-on support.
Variations to the individual postures (asana) are offered,
so that each individual can practice according to their own requirements and abilities.
Of course, the participant decides whether 'hands-on' adjustments are desired in certain asanas
or not – for this purpose, we have InfoChips in our mat shelf,
At the same time, there is always time for personal exchange.
