Yin Yoga

Restorative Yoga Class

Calm your stress or anxiety, improve your flexibility and find balance with Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga is a form of restorative yoga that targets deep tissues and focuses on stretching and stimulating different acupressure points on the body, as identified in traditional chinese medicine. It’s a slower and more meditative form of yoga which complements the dynamic and continuous movements of the Ashtanga Vinyasa method. 

 

If you’re seeking a method of deep relaxation after a stressful day, or need help to find a sense of calm, Yin Yoga is an ideal way to let stored emotions go and regenerate your energy. Asanas are mostly practised in a seated or lying down position and are held for several minutes, so there’s no need for strenuous exercise.

 

Your class is led by Teresa who will create a silent and safe space for you to relax and achieve mindfulness.

Your Instructor

In an accident in 2012 I broke two vertebrae and had to learn to live with a metal implant. I am infinitely grateful for my yoga practice, as it has given me back flexibility and body awareness.
